Programs & Services
CDI Provide services through various programs that have been developed over the years. These
programs serve as vehicles for meeting our goals and objects. The most prominent ones are:
Private Home Healthcare Program
At CDI, we understand the importance of compassionate care and the desire to live comfortably
in the familiar surroundings of one’s own home. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life
for individuals of all ages, providing the support and assistance they need to maintain

following types of home care services such as personal care, companionship, medication
management, light housekeeping, medical transportation, meal preparation, nursing services,
Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care, live-in and respite care.

This program aims to improve access to the full range of affordable, equitable and highquality family planning and reproductive health services in order to increase contraceptive use rate
and reduce the incidence of unwanted pregnancies amongst our youths. It also ensures the
improvement in the health and nutrition status of women of all ages, especially pregnant and
nursing women. Various birth control options are promoted in this program and they include but

facilitation, and collaboration. Workshops impart nuggets that encourage participants to better
interact with each other, both verbally and non-verbally, through gestures, body language and
personal appearance. In addition to social skills, we help our program participants to develop the
skills they need to be successful in the workplace and life:

• Financial Literacy
Occupational Skills Development Program:Under this program, CDI aims to bridge the income gap and reduce inequalities in our society
through occupational skills training in high growth industries such as:
• Information Technology
• Health and Human Services
• Green Energy

Marriage Counselling Program
This program is borne out of the need to keep families together. Studies have shown that the
difficulties associated with family breakdown or the loss of parent and the ensuing challenges of
living in a sole-parent family could lead to lower levels of educational and later occupational
attainment of children. Reports have found that children from broken homes have a tougher time
finishing school and finding a job and their incomes as adults are on average 8 per cent lower than
those whose parents stay together. This program is currently funded by Private donations.
